These katana are meant for more demanding users. They are perfect for martial artists with more experience and collectors with a slightly larger budget. They have a hand forged 1095  steel blade (0.95% carbon content). All japanese swords on this page are clay tempered and water quenched. The edge is 58 to 63 HRC and the back is 40-45 HRC what makes them very strong and resistant to impacts when performing tameshigiri (cutting exercises). All these swords are razor sharp.
